I've seen two threads started on this, with no results.

I'm in particular looking for a business class ticket LHR-BOM or LHR-AMD. The o/w business isn't very unreasonable ($1700) but I wonder if there is a cheaper way.

Can anyone recommend a consolidator (for example, London based)? I hear many rumours about conslidator fares, but haven't had much success in finding them. Am I search for something that doesn't exist?

Someone on this board mentioned pay for upgrade a while back on Air India, but I don't know how common that is. (Not to mention that my employer will reimburse J, but not a fee to upgrade from Y to J, go figure).
