Hertz SIN - Any Tips?

Hi All,

Renting a car in SIN - Hertz is basically 30% higher than Avis - wondering whether anyone has any tips on saving on the huge fees they charge...

Understand that the Hertz Changi station doesn't even have GPS units, so BYO??

Using an AAA code gets you 5% off.
