There is no official and specific "transcon service" to start with, so I don't see any official release.

Edit: Actually, by next year with LiveTV installed, I believe EWR-LAX/SFO will be exclusively on the 739ERs. So, perhaps we'll get an official release about the enhanced service on those two routes.
