Wow, to each his own, I guess. I couldn't disagree more. I think the new C seat is a quantum improvement in comfort. Lie flat isn't hype -- it's the ability to get a good night's sleep on the eastbound TATL flight. If you're a side sleeper, it makes all the difference in the world. I eventually learned to contort myself into a sleepable position in the old La-Z-Boy seats, but it's vastly better in the new C.
