I would never go near an onboard art auction.
Don't skip the art auctions! They're funnier than the on board entertainment. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the edge of the crowd and snickering every time the auctioneer started raving about an "Undiscovered genius of the art world." Sad to say my snickering might have cost a sale or two.
