( Venice is known as an early-eating town.) I believe it is closed on Mondays.
Corte Sconta & Osteria di Santa Marina are very good and mid-range in price. Corte Sconta has seating in a lovely outdoor courtyard, but that is weather-dependent. Closed Sundays.
Lineadombra is the best of Venice's (few) new & modern restaurants. Very good, but not traditional in any way.
i think the first 3 restaurants you have mentioned are among the more expensive in Venice. I realize corte sconta and santa marina are not supposed to be expensive, but i have always run up a big bill when in them. i also am not all that excited about any one of those three. they are usually packed with tourists, and i feel like a tourist in them.
i have not eaten in Lineadombra, but will try to get in on next visit.
