Presumably because DL has no rights (or desire) to sell that flight as stand-alone.

Anyone know of a trick/workaround (other than the obvious hope and pray delta.com offers you the connection you want)?

Thanks
You will have to price through SMS. Unfortunately, the legs cannot be split online. I have had the same issue. What exactly are you trying to do? I know you can book ATL - BKK without issues online.

Are you trying to select different fare classes?
As far as "force pricing" through ICN, DL only goes to ICN 4 days per week.
Are you looking for DL metal specifically?

I have booked TPA - BKK a few times via SMS, and they can do whatever you need, although sometimes you must "educate" them as to what routings are available.
