Any and all advice appreciated.
The first thing you need to know is that all lounges are located after security (with the exception of the arrivals lounge which, as its name suggests, is only for arrivals). Therefore you can only use the departure lounge in the terminal you are leaving from. If you are flying AF to the US, then you will be leaving from Terminal "E" (or perhaps "F"). All lounges in E & F and their satelite terminal (S3) are AF lounges.

If you are traveling in biz, you get lounge access with your ticket. If you are traveling in economy, you need elite plus status to enter the lounge. DL Gold Medallion is SkyTeam elite and not elite plus. Since the lounges are run by AF and not CO or NW, a lounge pass probably won't work. Sorry the news isn't better.

Having said that, you can try any of the above strategies (showing your friend's DL GM card, using a CO or NW pass). But don't be disappointed or mad if it doesn't work. And AA is definitely out since they are in 2A.
