Perhaps I need to re-state the original post:
It is NOT that the girl was unable to process PP's, or either type of GC's. As that occurs with some frequency, it has been endlessly covered in this forum, and another thread need not be started.
The intent of my post was to express incredulity that management would schedule a brand new trainee on the desk with NO experienced back-up anywhere on property; especially in a sold out (actually oversold) situation.
All of the suggestion as to how to handle PP's provide interesting ideas - but my issue was (and still is)
Why a manager would put a trainee in this position is beyond me!.
