I am flying to Santiago, Chile, today and my first segment is DFW-ATL, well I just got up this morning to check my itinerary and my seat had been moved from 21F to 42F. I called DL to find out what the deal was and they had no explanation other than "it says the agents at the airport changed it." What a nice way to treat a Sky Team Elite Plus member. The telephone agent was appalled and said I should say something when I get to the airport.

Given that there are nothing but middle seats left on the plane, I don't think it's very likely I will be moved back to my seat. Is this a frequent occurrence with DL? If so, I'm REALLY looking forward to the merger now.
