I dont have an Amex Plt CC, nor do I have exactly $xxx in my bank account and I am trying to buy a ticket worth $xxx +$12.
The OP got enough helpful responses regarding further action. I am just hoping he realizes how bad of a choice it is to use a debit card in such situations especially when the available funds are so tight.
What many people fail to realize is the fact that for several online and store transactions, there is some sort of a "hold" put on a some funds on your CC to verify the validity of card and credit.
