Well, the common idea is that Seattle may be reinstated... and maybe they will re-route New York, JFK from Seattle?

Not likely, unless CI can sell JFK-SEA ticket.
CX is doing well on JFK-YVR route.
I remember CI can not sell HOU-SEA route. This kills that route.
