Ironically, there is a 15 dollar shuttle bus to Ann Arbor or East Lansing, but for Detroit proper, the Taxis and limos seem to have a monopoly and charge 45.
FWIW, it's $15/$20/$25 for AA/Jackson/East Lansing (if paid in advance, slightly higher to the driver). I've thought about taking this one for when I need to get to the airport for my thanksgiving travel since my wife will already be in detroit at the time.
