This problem still exists. I have two rooms on cash & points for 11-13 Feb. I need to add 14 Feb as paid nights and this appears as available on the first screen but not on the screen after you hit "book now". Can do it with cash & point only, even the points only page fails despite also being ticked as avail.

Although I am cringing at the potential of having to pay 38400 yen per room for a sat night stay in Tokyo.

Anyone know if the Westin Tokyo discounts rooms closer to the date - can't imagine it is a peak period for Tokyo. Or consolidator sites that offer better rates?
