Hi there Kuro Flyer, I'm cabin crew on worldwide for BA, and I frequently work on the upper deck.. Personally I think your son SHOULD be in 63A, so he is 'hemmed in', so to speak, by his parents. Book him into 64B,put him in 63A, don't mention what the travel agent said, I'm pretty sure it will all be fine.I would not have a problem with him sat there.

I'm off to work later, I'll have a chat with the CSD and get his opinion.

I have to say, I've never heard of that restriction since we've had the rearward facing seats.If I saw you coming on board with those seats, I would suggest to put him into 63A, I'm a mum, and I'd relax more with him by the window.

I hope I get back to you in time for your trip..
