On longhaul flights it probably depends where you leave from, type of aircraft and how many air bridges are in use.

To be honest most airlines I have used expect you to be using the lounge facilities until the last minute and would rather you board last rather than first especially where economy pax have to move through the premium cabins to get to the back.

On my last flight from LHR we arrived at the gate after boarding had started and as there was only one bridge being used we just had to wait our turn to board like everyone else even though we were in F.

No big deal to be honest unless you want to show off.
