Unless you're like me, usually smuggling Cuban cigars, sausages, or Havana Club rum, there's nothing to hide from Customs inspectors.

They're doing a job, not abusing you personally. Cooperate and be nice, I say. If you get snitty, you will get a comment next to your name and you'll be inspected every time you clear customs from now on, which is totally within the rules.
