Id imagine the overbooking calculation can't be more than 2 or 3....since AS has very few flights to boston. The calculation is right 90-95% of the time, and if it failed often, they wouldnt be making any money off it.

Seems funny though that it did not give you a seat, as I could have sworn it was based on check in time. Chances of everyone checking in online and 24 hours before seems incredibly unlikely.

Im sure they'd throw you on a codeshare to boston in the absolute worst case tomorrow...but id push for it.

Just make sure you stay aware after you talk to the GA when they call your name ... and make sure she doesnt forget about you.
