not much mvp desk can do at this point unless an assignable seat opens up - then they would have to cancel your checkin, assign the seat, and have you do OLCI again - this assuming the flight isn't already under airport control.

your status will bump you up on the list however I strongly suggest you arrive at the ticket counter early. my experience has been that AS doesn't overbook the trans-cons by very many. last year my EWR-SEA on the Sunday after T-giving was only overbooked by 3 when I arrived at the gate an hour before departure and the flight went out with one non-rev onboard. no BTT 4 me
