12 people at Logan alone?! In about six weeks?! Are you kidding me? This should be cause for concern -- it makes you wonder how many have been busted nationwide.
Not really, in my opinion, it's helping us weed out the inflated ego wannabes. For the most part, most of them I'd say were doing the whole usual "I got a badge" type thing as in flashing it in order to get a free beer, free table at a resturant, getting out of a parking ticket.

Mind you, this was an something said by one of my supervisors, so I don't know how much merit it holds. So far, I've only noticed one case, the guy who was in my monthly training class back in August.

That in my opinion is a slight cause for concern, but nothing overwhelming. But once again, IMO, we need to rid the TSA of the LEO-wannabes because they're the type that's taking the "power" of being a TSO to their head.

Our badges are made by V.H. Blackinton, down in good ole' Attleboro, same place were our name plates are made, but by a different company, Reeve's.

Anyways, searching their online catalog, I came across B1741, which is the closest I can find to our badges, and their Hi-Glo badges which are generally $100 a pop.

Proof's here

Here's a bit more more from this, all together the contract is just over $1.8 million.

Remember guys, Google is your friend... All I had to punch in was "blackinton TSA"

Chump change. That's nothing compared to SEVEN HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS for the bailout. Or the Iraq war.
