We flew in and out of LAX (to LAS) last week for the first time. It was the worst international airport I've ever been to. We had 3 1/2 hrs connection BA to UA and only sat at at the UA gate for 10mins!!. Waited 1 1/2hrs for luggage (after 40mins on the incoming taxiway).

Qantas lounge on the way home was a sanctuary but very full.

T5 was just superb (both ways).
