Actually, from what I gather, it's more like the OP wanted to book a stay tonight (October 14th going into the 15th), however from where he is, it is past midnight, so officially, the date is the 15th.

Perhaps the OP can clarify, but that is how I read it.

My guess is that the hotel should be able to do it directly as long as they haven't rolled the system onto the next day yet.
