Damn, this new lounge sure looks nice. What an improvement! It actually looks nicer than the LH FCT. Anyone care to compare?

I might have to transfer some *Wood miles and take a little tour... Shame there's no Bolly left.

I very much prefer the LH FCT for the following reasons:

** Showers, etc., are not shared with others. If one wants a shower as a FC BA passenger one has to sign up on a list, and J/C as well as F passengers can get on that list. It's first-come-first-served. On my most recent pass through T5, the wait was 45 minutes and I got no shower. I have *never* had to wait for a shower in LH FCT

** Food service. There is always a buffet so that you can go up and grab a snack without having to take a seat and order. With CCR, you must order from the kitchen.

** Open bar. In the smoking room in FCT (there is no smoking in T5) there is an open bar where one can help oneself. No such service in CCR.

** Transit to plane: From FCT its a ride in a Mercedes or BMW directly to the gate. With CCR, one has to walk like others.

** Security: There is dedicated security screening in FCT. I have *never* had more than one person in line in front of me. To get to the BA CCR one must negotiate the regular BAA security.
