Nah! There are no thieves in the TSA. Inept individuals perhaps but no thieves.

I literally travel with dozens of kilograms of electronics each time. I had up to 8 notebook computers checked maximum and hardly ever carry less than 3 computers. Plus lots of optics and robotic part.

Sure they loose screws, they mix parts, they improperly repack stuff, even if it is labeled how to do it. But they never steal stuff and they always compile the note when searching your bag.
