Anyone ever flown on a A319? I really like the 757 (with IFE in each seat) or the 737 fleet on the SLC to east coast routes. Not sure about the A319s (currently no power ports or IFE). Maybe DL would add IFE. I also like keeping the M90's in SLC.
With limited gate space in SLC, I do think the combined DL/NW could put more capacity at SLC by increasing mainline at the expense of RJ's. For example there are two RJ's afternoon flights from PDX to SLC. Maybe they could fly one mainline flight. I'd gladly trade a RJ for a A319. However, not sure I want to trade a 757 for a A319.
I personally hope they scrap the Airbus fleet all together. It's one of the reasons I've never switched from DL is because I knew I never had to fly on one of those hunks of crap on DL. It's a little discouraging now that I'll have to pay attention. Actually them going to SLC helps me. Maybe I'll never have to fly one!
