Hello all

On the advice of Flyertalk (not long a member and thank you!!), I have switched my registered address from the UK to my lovely friend's place in Paris so I now only need to get 800 TPs instead of the usual 1500 to regain my Gold status.... and after my flight last week back from ORD, I now have Gold on my EC account when I look on-line.

Obviously, when my card arrives at my mate's place in Paris, he'll send it over to me.

But my other question is what, if any, changes can I expect? I guess I will no longer get the same special offers that I used to get being registered in the UK but will get ones geared to the French market??

Is there anything else I should look out for?

I did do a wee search but haven't found any "warning" messages....
