It is incredibly sad that people are willing to allow airlines to treat them shabilly and not attempt to hold them accountable in any way. OP is doing exactly what all of us perhaps spend 5 seconds thinking about doing when we've been $hit on by any large corporation.
Of course, most of us just forget about it while some of us write a letter or make a call and then forget about it. OP OTOH appears to have the wherewithal, time and passion to attempt to hold the airline accountable. This is commendable and is an action that could potentially benefit the rest of us who do little or nothing to prevent big corporations continuing to act poorly with their customers.
