Can I use AGR points for a roommette and then bring someone else in?
The title says it all, i think. I searched for this but couldn't find anything.

If I redeem points for a roomette, and my brother buys a regular coach ticket for the same price, can I attach him somehow to my roomette? Would he still get meals then?

On a somewhat related note, if I want to go from Atlanta to Seattle, that should be a two-zone reward. And there are ways to go through the two zones to get me there (to NOL, then to CHI or to LAX before SEA). However, on amtrak.com, the only options you get go back to the east through Charlottesville or WAS. Would that then be a 3-zone award? Will they give me a ticket on the ATL-NOL-LAX-SEA routing if I call and ask? Or will theyroute me through WAS and only charge me for 2 zones?
