But I'm willing to be surprised in a positive way.
Again and again I find the same discussion here. LH Y is bad, cramp, food is terrible etc. So I wonder why do people actually fly LH in Y? Do they have to? What are the other possibilities and what are the better airlines from Europe to N.America ?

I am not a SEN or a HON, but I've done several trips over the pond in various airlines in Y and C. And in general I have a consistent product with LH and I still have to find an airline which much better seat pitch in Y. I would say with all mayor airlines Y is more or less cramped. Food is always a personal choice and up to taste, and I don't care so much for AVOD since I like to read. But I was always aproched profesional by LH employes, and in C (long haul) I am always adresed by name (this for example wasn't the case with my last NZ flight from LHR to LAX in C). It probably comes done to the crew, but here again I see more consistands with LH. So something they do right, otherwise it wouldn't be profitable airline while a lot others are struggeling.

But I agree there is still space for improvements.
