C on LH is good. F on LH is very good and Y on LH is terrible. Some of the most crowded Y that I have flown. They need to give free drinks to help anestatize the passengers.
Y is terrible on most (not all) airlines, but if you are willing to fly US then flying LH is no problem at all. My worst Y flights were definitely on US, which unlike LH doesn't give away free alcohol to ease the pain, but wants you to be sober so you really experience their terrible service.
