I have done very little international travel, Italy & China, but with tour companies. I will be flying Lufthansa in August JFK/TLV. I would like to know what kind of plane they fly for that route so I can determine what seats I want to request: the itinerary is only showing on US Air at the moment as it has not been completely processed by LH ,but it says no meals. The first flight is over 8 hours. Is it really no meal or is it just that US Air doesn't know what LH does?
In general, is LH considered a good airline to fly or one of the worst choices. This is a trip on US Air award travel so I know very little. And another question that may make me sound like a total idiot: When I make my connection in Frankfurt will there be employees who speak English to help me get to my connecting flight? Sorry for asking so many questions.
