We spent three nights in Strasbourg in mid Sept and the recent stay only re-enforced that its' my favorite French city outside Paris.

If you do not have much luggage the very nice tram ( change at Homme de Fer) has a stop fairly close to the Hilton... walk is about two short blocks along a pleasant tree lined avenue.

Hilton is OK and because of the tram eliminates the need to stay near the city centre, takes about 7 mins.
The executive lounge wich is usually not crowded at all, has quite decent offerings (much better than both of the Paris Hiltons) and is stocked all day and can be accessed by your room key.
