TG Y is not that great from a seat point of view...

You aren't flying UA C, you're flying OZ C and TG C - they aren't that bad in those cabins - LOADS better than SQ Y.

Your UA return, to be honest is fine. I fly UA Transpac 15 times a year, I've yet to have one major incident this year with dead IFE, water problems, etc. Not to say it doesn't happen - but it doesn't happen on every flight.
