Not exactly on point but may be useful for connecting in PEK and using the Air China/Star Alliance business class lounge. There is an estimated 10 minute walk from the lounge to the UA gates, yesterday PEK to ORD was gate 30. At the bottom of the escalator there are some golf cart shuttles to the gates. Beware though, my wife and I were offered a ride and unbeknownst to us there is a 10 RMB charge per passenger which we were informed of when we arrived at the gate. It is waived with a Citi platinum card. When we boarded the shuttle we were not told this and it is printed in very small letters on the front of the cart.
