United C Class vs. SQ Coach?
I'm trying to decide if I should keep a business class award ticket on UA/OZ vs. changing to a SQ/TG/UA better flight option in coach. I obviously prefer busines class but it looks like every bird I'm on (UA, OZ, TG) is ancient and will have the older seats and non VOD IFE. Most won't even have in seat IFE and in my expereince UA's 747s sometimes have no operating IFE at all. So I'm contemplating a better flight schedule on better metal but in coach. Anythoughts?
Option 1:
DEN>LAX in coach (typical waitlist bs)
LAX>INC in business (Asiana old seats 747) OZ201
INC>BKK in business (TG old seats 333) TG657
On my own the following day Air Asia BKK>KUL>SIN
