Winters in H.K. haven't been as cold as in the past. I'd say a light sweater or jacket is all you need.
Had a bit of a cold snap winter last winter I would say!!!
One thing to note, it can get cold indoors during winter, because of lack of insulation. However hotels should have some sort of heating.
