You can do SEA-SFO-DEN-SFO-SEA leaving on the 13th back on the 14th for $237 (all in) on ual.com. I think that should give you almost exactly 3000 miles.

for the same price you can do SEA-LAX-DEN-LAX-SEA but that only gives you about an extra 400 miles.
