My experience this summer would indicate this should be enough time but close. I had to collect my bag and recheck with a UA -Air China connection but my connecting flight to Xi'an was from the new terminal also.

Coming back, however, my Air China flight was terribly delayed and so I went on China Eastern which went to the old terminal. Collecting bags and going to the new terminal can be a lengthy process.
