No, I would not recommend it for a tourist visit. It's really a convention and business hotel, in a downtown area of 'The Valley of the Sun' that is otherwise pretty dead.

I would suggest you look into the Westin Kierland, Sheraton Wild Horse Pass, the W Scottsdale, or The Phoenician as more vacation-oriented properties, none of which are in the center of town.
