Harrahs has added (a
non-gambling) method of earning base points in their system, for every $5 spent in one of their casinos, you earn one base point--which counts for tier status: seven stars, diamond etc.
I was pondering over the following scenario: a large company is holding a convention, say 500 employees, for 3 days at $100/night = $150,000, equivalent to 30,000 base points, which the ceo would have credited to his account, and become diamond without doing any gambling.
