coolfish, cos u r in LAX, so u have couple choice(BR,MH), not like me, i am in JFK. China airlines almost is my only choice. So, make sure u got first class on 74c.

i know its almost an impossible to get 74c in JFK. but who knows. before, mainly 74b always fly to LAX, but i got 74b couple times. B-18210 & 15.
so, if somehow, 74c visit new york, who request upgrade, they got charge 10,000 miles more when check-in? or for free!? i know i'm dreaming.

about a330, i think they wont put the new seats, just remove 1 row.

i just called CI to booking my trip. The first week of Nov, they dont have seat map on all 744 before 10AM. so, i may get chance to fly the 74c.

also, my other booking on end of Nov to NRT, my seat is 28B no 28C. At least, it will be a Y cabin with PTV, on that time, all four 74c can finish? who knows..

anyways, if i fly with new aircraft, i will post the picture. !!
