Is there a certain criteria that a flight has to meet to have hot meal service as opposed to the deli plate/salad selection?</font>
First, and foremost your pilots name must begin with the letter R. The length of the aircraft when measured and converted into inches must end in either a 3 or 7. It must be sunny for the previous 4.37 days in Chicago. The destination of the city must have at least 3 vowels in it. Your aircraft’s total passenger load must be between 98..1% and 98.2%. If over 98.2% yet below 98.4% First Class passengers will get neither the Deli Platter nor the hot meal – and instead will receive economy class drinks and peanuts (not the golden peanut bags however). Your plane must be scheduled to depart at a time where the last digit (the minute digit) is an odd number. Even numbers constitute immediate withdrawal of dinner services.
If all the above criteria are met - you can rest assured you will get one of these new fangled hot meals instead of the deli plate.
Thank you for flying United Airlines
