Imperial War Museum is close (walkable) from Waterloo-Take the Hex to Paddington then tube all the way to Waterloo on the Bakerloo line. Journey time is 15 mins. There are signs from the station to the museum (use the exit on the far right -as you face the platforms- of the mainline station.
