Picked up 2 cameras on clearance at my local target yesterday:

A Rebel XT kit for $174 and the Canon S5IS for $70.

Both are open box or display, but at this price you can add a 3yr warranty for just $19. I know it is a nationwide deal, but some stores may have already sold theirs, or might be keeping them for themselves. It's worth checking out!
