Iceland is a mess. The state has taken over all the banks. Problem is that the state is microscopic, the whole country has like 300 000 inhabitants. No one really knows what will happen. I would also like to visit as it has become affordable and most likely will stay like that for a long time. About the currency, I have no idea. It lost like 30% against the euro on monday. What will the next few weeks bring?
