I'm so spoiled by flying C on a ps that I *can't* go back to Y. I can handle Y on 757-200 because of Row 16 (or Row 8/9 for others) and the way-excessive legroom. But the ps doesn't have that equivalent in Y...
Like with most UA flights, the purpose of C is the larger/wider seat and decent legroom for more body comfort. The food/flight attendant service is bonus but not the reason for flying C. I have no problems spending (extra) money to bring my own desired food onboard.
