I used 40000 points for a five night stay last week. Reservation in order despite late arrival, room set aside (but no upgrade). Staff was friendly but sluggish. Corridor hall was musty. Elevators were slow. Room was dreary, immaculate. Convenient to my meeting. For the rack rate or points spent, hence a higher expectation, I was disappointed.

I wouldn't object to staying there again if others were paying, but this wouldn't be my choice for my own expenditures.
