It is landside and nothing overly special. Fairly tiny. Beer, sparkling wine, some spirits and limited snacks. On its own, wouldn't swing an upgrade (especially a steep one) for me. No problem getting in as an ET pax (+ guest) with a shiny card.

This was March '07 though.
