Very important if you book mixed XF/XY itinerary - call and verify that for your XY segments that you are placed on the FFCC waitlist. This is what puts you at the top of the heap (even above upgrading GS) on the day of the flight, as when you are on the FFCC list you are the equivolent of a full fare paying F passenger.
