I looked into the ones in Burlington, but to get to the mountains, it's at least an hour drive.
It depends, they all aren't an hour away but Burlington is probably the best location with numerous good ski areas close, within an hours drive or less(and even much more within an hour and a half). Bolton Valley is about 20 minutes or so. Stowe 50 minutes.
Rutland has a HI and is relatively close to a few areas including Killington.
If you are looking for ski in, ski out, it ain't gonna happen with a Hilton. If you want really close you are probably better off going with one of the lodges.
